It is one- component, moisture curing acetic silicone sealant. It cures fast to form a

permanently flexible, waterproof and weather resistant silicone rubber.

Application Cases
   Mask areas adjacent to joints to ensure neat sealant lines. Apply SV628 in a continuous operation using dispensing guns. Before a skin forms, tool the sealant with light pressure to spread the sealant against the joint surfaces. Remove masking tape as soon as the bead is tooled.

CURE TIME
 

As exposed to air, SV628 begins to cure inward from surface. Its tack free
time is about 50 minutes; the full and optimal adhesion depends on the sealant
depth.

SV628 is designed to meet or even exceed the requirements of:

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
 

SV628 should be stored at or below 27ºC in original unopened containers.
It has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.
 

LIMITATIONS
 

SV628 should not be applied:

1. For structural glazing

2. For weather seal for curtain walls

3. To underground joints

4. To joints with high movement

5. To the materials that bleed oils , plasticizers or solvents, such as impregnated
wood ,or unvulcanized resin

6. In totally confined spaces as sealant requires atmospheric moisture for cure

7. To frost laden or damp surfaces

8. For continuous water immersion

9. When surface temperature below 4ºC or over 50ºC
