LIMITATIONS
 

  SV201 should not be applied:

    1.For structural glazing

    2.For weather seal for curtain walls

    3.To underground joints

    4.To joints with high movement

    5.To the materials that bleed oils , plasticizers or solvents, such as impregnated wood ,or unvulcanized resin

    6.In totally confined spaces as sealant requires atmospheric moisture for cure

    7.To frost laden or damp surfaces

    8.For continuous water immersion

    9.When surface temperature below 4ºC or over 50ºC

SAFETY INFORMATION  

 

     1.SV201 is a chemical product, not edible, no implantation into body and should be kept away from children.

     2.Cured silicone rubber can be handled without any risk to health.

     3.Should uncured silicone sealant contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical treatment if irritation persists.

     4.Avoid prolonged exposure of skin to uncured silicone sealant.

     5.Good ventilation is necessary for work and cure places.

Application Method

 

     Mask areas adjacent to joints to ensure neat sealant lines. Apply SV-201 in a continuous operation using dispensing guns. Before a skin forms, tool the sealant with light pressure to spread the sealant against the joint surfaces. Remove masking tape as soon as the bead is tooled.
